Krimml Waterfalls

With their impressive waterfall drop of 380 m, the Krimml Waterfalls are the fifth highest waterfalls in the world. With approx. 350,000 visitors each year they are one of the most visited tourist attractions in Austria. The water blazes it’s way down over 3 steps. A hike to the Krimml Waterfalls is regenerating and the refreshing mizzle and impressive power of the water amidst the gorgeous scenery of the Hohe Tauern National Park is an amazing experience.
The source of the Krimml Waterfalls is the Krimmler Ache. Because of the well-kept and signposted hiking trails you can reach the upper waterfalls within an hour.
The Krimml Waterfalls are open to the public from May to October.
